David J. Holcomb age 62 of Cowen passed away May 21, 2016. He was born March 16, 1954 in Webster Springs and was the son of the late Everett Woodrow and Elsie Marie Snider Holcomb. Also proceeding him in death are his sibling; Montie Holomb, Hurshel Holcomb, Norma Holcomb, Shirley Holcomb, Beatrice Mollohan, Barbara Allen, Ernie and Ernest Holcomb.
David attended Wainville Community Church and Erbacon Community Church. David had a special place in his heart for little kids.
Surviving are his sibling; Opal Stem, Ada Short, Virginia Ross, Verma Holcomb and Erma Holcomb; nieces and nephews; Andy Holcomb and his wife Miranda, Luke Short, Lisa Riddlers, Danny Mollohan, Crystal Ross, Melinda Carpenter, Eric Bragg and his wife Teresa, Brandon Sparks and Dawson Mollohan.
Service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday May 24, 2016 at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen with Rev. Craig Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Holcomb Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
