Eltha Haynes Gregory Bell, 87 of Cowen passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Webster Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born January 11, 1930 in Webster County, the daughter of the late Alex and Clara Miller Gregory.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a great-great-grandmother. She was a homemaker and her passion was working along-side her husband on the farm. Eltha enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Stanley “Red” Bell; sisters Ethel, Edith, and Elva; and brothers Orville and Owen. She is survived by her brother Otis Gregory of Webster Springs; children Jim (wife Karen) Bell of Cowen, Linda (husband Alfred) Fall of Cowen, John Bell of Craigsville, Timmy (wife Tammy) Bell of Cowen, and Bobby Bell of Richwood; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Adams-Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Eltha’s life will be held at 2:00 PM with Pastor Doug Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Handschumacher Cemetery, Upperglade.
