Eula Weese Lamb

April 27, 1928 — November 21, 2015

Eula Naomi Weese Lamb, 87 of Cowen went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Braxton County Memorial Hospital surrounded by all her children. She was born April 27, 1928 in Camp Run, Webster County, to Noble and Lilly Ann Carpenter Sims and spent most of her life in Webster County. She was a member of Halo United Methodist Church where she took a very active part, the Cowen Garden Club, the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 62, and the Silver Haired Legislature. She enjoyed going to the Webster County Senior Citizens, watching old western movies, and doing word search puzzles.  She was formerly a Teacher’s Aide at Erbacon and a homemaker. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Eula is survived by her children Robert Junior (Sharon) Weese of Erbacon, Susan Cook of Cowen, Sally (Osbourn) Perrine of Erbacon, Ruth (Paul) Greene of Erbacon, and Mary Cooley of Flatwoods; brothers Ernest Sims of Erbacon, Clarence Sims of Cowen, Forest (Sharron) Sims of Sandusky, OH, Tommy (Joyce) Sims of Milan, OH, and Harry Sims of Sandusky, OH; sisters Audrey Green of Kissimmee, FL and Lela Wehr of Sandusky, OH; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Robert Leo Weese and Ralph Fred Lamb; brother Loyd Sims; sister Beulah Moore; and son-in-laws Edward Cooley and Tommy Bean.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Adams-Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Eula’s life will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Hickman and James “Oz” Gray officiating. Interment will follow in the Mack Wayne Family Cemetery, Dennison Run Road, Cowen.
