Norma Wilson

Norma Jean Wilson, 56, of Cowen, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born July 10, 1961, in Fort Worth, TX, she was the daughter of the late Billy and Lemoine (Mathes) Wilson.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, camping and 4-wheeling.  She was a very loyal Dallas Cowboys fan. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Melissa Sue Dempsey of Flatwoods, Felicia Dawn White of Cowen, Leo Clifford “Bud” White, III of Mt. Lookout; grandchildren, Tyler Anderson, Jaden Dempsey, Kaleb Dempsey, Hailey Wells, Hartley Miller, and Damien White; sisters, Darlene Kay Lee (husband, Preston, Sr) of Cowen, Carol Sue Clark (husband, Donald) of Heaters, Shirley Ann Moran (husband, Paul) of CT, Brenda Lee Che of VA; brothers, Billy Adrian Wilson, Jr. of Buckhannon, and David Alan Wilson (Wife, Lisa) of Webster Springs; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews to mourn her passing.

Services to honor Norma’s life will be held 1PM, Monday, November 13, 2017 at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen, with Pastor Carmel Sanson officiating.  Burial will follow at Handschumaker Cemetery, Upperglade.

Friends may join the family for visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Adams-Reed Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
