Lola Nan Boggs age 77 of Cowen passed away March 28, 2018 at Summersville Regional Medical Center.  Nan was born May 5, 1940 down Elk River, Webster County and was the daughter of the late Oddie and Alice Clutter McCourt.  Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Estle Boggs Jr.

Nan was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  She worked 23 years as Property Manager at Circle Brooke Manor; she was one of the first women to work at the Webster Woodlands Plant that was located at Back Fork Webster Springs.  Even after retirement from Circle Brooke Manor she continued to work for AmeriCorps VISTA and also the Nicholas County Empowerment Corporation.  She was also a member of the Cowen Garden Club, active with the Cowen Railroad Festival and also Webster County 4-H.  Nan loved to arrange flowers, loved to sew and most of all enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Survivors include her children; Ginger Lamb and her husband Donald, Rhonda Henline and her husband Steven, Ernest Boggs, Marla Short and her husband Rick and Jack Boggs and his wife Angie; grandchildren, Jason Henline, Joshua Henline, Stephanie Henline, Erc Lamb, Nathan Boggs, Kevin Boggs, Elizabeth Boggs, Lindsay Short, Brittany Malcomb, Jakeob Boggs and Jordan Boggs; great grandchildren, Delaney, Haley and Wyatt Lamb, Sydney, Ethan, Emma Henline,  Eathan, Sadie, Domanick, Lanie and Nate Boggs, Colton & Corbin Cool and Tuesday Malcomb; brothers, Loye and Loren McCourt; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will truly miss her.

Service will be 3:00 PM Saturday March 31, 2018 at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen with Elder Keith Hamrick officiating.  Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Cowen.  Friends may join the family for visitation two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
