ADRIAN E. "JAKE" HOLCOMB
Adrian E. "Jake" Holcomb, 70 of Craigsville died Saturday, July 31, 2010 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born April 29, 1940 in Webster County, to the late Lela Humphreys Holcomb and Clayborne "Jack" Holcomb.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter; Cookie Holcomb and a brother; Mike "Ray" Holcomb. Surviving is wife: Ruby Johns Holcomb of Craigsville, WV, daughter: Charlene (Terry) Miles of Craigsville, brother: Michael Holcomb of Erbacon, WV, sister: Retha (Hinton) Hall of Webster Springs, WV, grandchildren: Victoria Holcomb and Chardae Miles both of Craigsville, and Amanda (Hazel) Beard of Lewisburg, WV, and one great grandson: Emory Beard of Lewisburg, WV.
Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Hickory Flats Cemetery, Erbacon, WV, with Rev. Sam Gray and Rev. Shawn Bragg officiating. By personal request there will be viewing at the cemetery only. Arrangements are in the care of Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen, WV.
