Alfred James Fall, Sr., 77 of Cowen passed away Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center, Clarksburg. Alfred was born June 19, 1948 in Sutter Creek, CA and was the son of the late Alfred James Fall and Martha Elizabeth Roberts Fall. Along with his parents he was also preceded in death by his father, William H. Wasley, whom Martha married after Mr. Fall passed after a tragic work accident; also preceded in death was his wife, Linda Lou Bell Fall and a sister. Kimberly.
Alfred was a United States Army Veteran 1967-1972. During his time in service, he was a heavy equipment operator and did radar surveillance. He and Linda Lou met as pen pals while he was in service and were married when he returned from Vietnam. He was the owner/operator of Fall's Auto 1981-2021. He enjoyed fishing, watching movies, and had a great work ethic, second to none that he passed on to his three children.
Surviving are his children, Alfred J. "AJ" Fall, Jr., Veronica (Marshall) Frame and Billy (Katherine) Fall; grandchildren, Terri Hilton, Daniel Frame, Samantha Frame, Amber Grose, Emily Blair, Tobias and Theodore Fall; five great grandchildren; siblings, Cheryl, Elizabeth, Adrienne and Pam.
Service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Eddie Green officiating. Burial with Military Honors conducted by American Legion Post #62 will follow at Handschumacher Cemetery, Upperglade.
Friends may join the family for visitation two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
