Audrey Nellie Tyler, 100, of Cowen passed away Friday, August 16, 2013 at her redisdence. She was born November 9, 1912, in Arcola, Webster County, to the late William Burton & Malesse Jane Holcomb Giles and was a life-long resident of Webster County. She was of the Methodist Faith and she enjoyed Quilting and Gardening.
Audrey is suvived by her daughters; Barbara and Buddy Robinson of Cowen, Patricia Miller of Cowen, Wanda & Harold Gadd of Cowen, sons; Keith & Brenda Tyler of Nitro, Delbert "Deb" Mable Tyler of Alum Creek, Jerry & Wilma Tyler of Cowen, David & Louise Tyler of Cowen, 37 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great- grandchildren, sister; Catherine Green of Poplar Bluff, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Delbert Tyler, daughter and son-in-law Emalena & Bob Stracher, son-in-law Jack Miller, son; Kenneth Tyler, two grandsons; William Tyler, Tom Miller and grandaughter; Joyce Chaffin.
Friends may join the family for visitation from 5-8 p.m. , Sunday August 18, at Adams-Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 19 at the funeral home with the Rev. Larry Cochran officiating. Interment will follow in the Odd Fellow Cemetery in Cowen.
