Delbert Fillmore Hall

Delbert Fillmore Hall, 85 of Craigsville passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026 at Summersville Regional Medical Center. He was born June 3, 1940 in Birch to the late George Edward and Gertrude Williams Hall.

Delbert was a welder for Midland Steel in Cleveland, Ohio and enjoyed fishing and camping.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Kevin Hall; brothers: George Edward Hall, Jr., John Lewis Hall, Denver Gale Hall, Dannie Meadows, Kenny Meadows, and Don “Otis” Hall; sisters: Carolyn Sue Jarvis and Dolly Yvonne Mathis.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife: Sharon Cogar Hall; sons: Delbert Dwayne Hall of Craigsville, Gregory Dayton Hall of Craigsville, and Douglas Abear of Syracuse, NY; brother Keith Meadows of Craigsville; sisters: Dale Lou (Stanley) Williamson of Williamson, WV and Glenda Jean Rose of New Martinsville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services to celebrate Delbert’s life will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen, with Pastor James Lynch officiating. Interment will follow in Fleming Cemetery, Craigsville. Friends may join the family for visitation one hour prior to service time, from 1:00–2:00 PM at the funeral home.
