Elmer Lloyd "Buck" Radcliff, 90, of Erbacon, WV, passes away June 7, 2014, at Summersville Memorial Hospital. He was born April 1, 1924, to Carl Radcliff and Josie Radcliff Bean at Arcola, WV.
He liked to hunt, fish, camp and raise a garden. He loved having his friends and family come to visit and play cards. He was always willing to help a neighbor or anyone who needed help. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Carl Radcliff and Josie Radcliff Bean, brothers: Lawrence (Bud), Ted, Woodrow and Arley Radcliff, sisters: Irene and Eloise Radcliff, and Gladys Morris.
Those left to cherish his memory is his companion and caregiver: Zetta Young, daughter: Nancy Gish, grandchildren: John O'Hara of Jackson, MS, Brian Cogar of Galion, OH, Michael Gish of Ocala, FL, Belinda Coagr and Jenny Carter of Tiffin, OH, brother: Charles Radcliff, sisters: Clara Hamrick and Macel Williams, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, especially Ellen Short, Paul and Jean Radcliff.
Services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2014, at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, with the Rev. Larry Cochran officiating. Burial will be in the Radcliff Family Cemetery, Arcola, WV. Friends may call on Tuesday, June 9, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
