Frankie L. Phares, Sr.

Frankie L. Phares, Sr., 65 of Summersville formerly of Cowen passed away Monday, August 12, 2024 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born April 25, 1959 in Richwood and was the son of the late Virgil and Sada White Phares. Along with his parents he was also preceded in death by his siblings; Ronald , Tim, Tom, Ralph , Davey and Faye Phares and Ann King.

Frankie enjoyed singing and playing his guitar, working on vehicles but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Surviving are his loving wife, Lynn Foster Phares; children, Frankie Phares, Jr. and his wife Candice, Michael Phares and Amanda Phares and her companion Dale Ball; six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Kenny, Ray, Rodney Phares and Rose White.

Friends may join the family for visitation 6-8 PM on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen. Following visitation Frankie's wishes for cremation will be honored.
