Gloria Jean Rigsby

Gloria "Jean" Rigsby passed away peacefully in her home in Morehead, KY on April 5, 2023. Jean was a 4 year resident of Morehead and resided in the home of her daughter Kim, son-in-law Aaron, and grandchildren, Hunter and Fergus and Tristen. Jean lived previously in Dundalk, Maryland for many years and was born in Upper Glade, West Virginia. 

 

Jean was an Assistant Chemist at Glidden Paints, and a Quality Inspector at Western Electric where she retired. 

 

She is proceeded in death by her husband William Earl Rigsby and by her parents Luther and Eva Williams and by her siblings, Deral, Ford, Lowell, Lyman, Ralph, Shirley and Flora Dell and her grandson Philip Reynolds IV.

 

She is survived by her children Michael Rigsby, Pamela Chernault and Kimberlie Rigsby, her grandchildren Kristin Rigsby, Lisa Rigsby, Ryan Kiel, Joshua Chernault, George Poulos. Timothy Reynolds. Williams Reynolds. Glory Reynolds, Fergus Polis and Hunter Czajkowski, and by her great grandchildren. Camden Kiel, Bryce Kiel, Sawyer Kiel and Kenley Pfannebecker, and by her devoted brother Jerry Williams, and numerous beautiful nieces and nephews. 

 

Service will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Adams-Reed Funerl Home, Cowen with Pastor Doug Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Handschumacher Cemetery, Upperglade. Friends may join the family for visitation 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home.
