Jack McLaughlin gained his wings on December 2, 2025 following a long illness. Jack lived up Williams River in Cowen, WV where he built a home for his family. He was a coal miner and loved doing wood working. He had his private campground and loved hanging out with all the guys when they came in. Now he is back with his mom, dad, brother, nephew, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Arlie “Cluster” and Eliza McLaughlin and one brother Herman “Gene” McLaughlin.

He survived by his wife Gloria, sister Zeta “Pearl” and Burnell Green and brother Lester "Lee” and Darlene McLaughlin, daughter Lisa and Jay Jones, son Terry and Beverly McLaughlin, grandsons Kyler, Dakota, and Bryce Deel, granddaughters Brittany and Tony Crissinger and Tiffany and Travis Carpenter. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren Hunter, Evelyn, Chase, Valerie, Isabella, Brooklynn and Melody.

He was loved by all his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all. This life will never be the same without him. RIP Dad.
