Judy Elaine Barr, 65 of Nettie, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Webster Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Cowen. She was born Au8gust 19, 1949 in Richwood to Ike and Dina Ida Bells Rock and was a homemaker. She attended the Church of God in Richwood and enjoyed gathering scrap metal, going to Wal Mart, traveling with the Carnival, NASCAR, and was a devoted Dale Earnhardt fan.
Judy is survived by her lifelong partner David Evans of Nettie; sons Edward "Eddie" (wife Cindy) Barr of Nettie and Ronald Dail Barr of Richwood; daughters Barbara (husband Wayne) Harris of Nettie and Matilda Barr of Richwood; brothers Harold Rock of Charleston and Roger (wife Charlotte) Rock of Richwood; grandchildren Edward Travis "E.T." Barr, Joshua Harris, Felicia Harris, Melissa Harris, Robert Lewis, David Lewis, Sharon Harris, Michael Harris, Aaron Barr, Emily Barr, T.J. Alderman, and Stephanie Alderman; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ronald Barr; two sets of twin babies; great-grandson Anton Williams; and brother Danny Rock.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, November 21, 2014 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Adams-Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Judy's life will be held at 1:00 PM with Rev. David Acree officiating. Interment will follow in Fields Cemetery, Nettie.
