Linda Kay Johnson

Linda Kay Johnson, 65 of Craigsville, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026 at her home. Linda was born June 16, 1960 in Webster County and was the daughter of the late Bobby Cobb and Helen Louise Mathes. She was also preceded in death by her foster mother, Sally Moore.

Linda loved the outdoors, gardening, tending to her flowers, watching the hummingbirds and enjoyed sharing her vegetables from her garden with her neighbors. Linda took great pride in caring for her family and loved to spoil her grandchildren.

Surviving are her loving husband, Russell Johnson; daughters, Tara Wingrat and her husband Eric and April Johnson; grandchildren, Lucy Wingrat and “EJ” Edison Johnson Wingrat; sisters, Shirley (Rick) Crites, Sharon Reed, Brenda Landon and Shelia Wyant; mother-in-law, Virginia Johnson and also a foster brother, Randall (Jeanie) Moore.

Per Linda’s request there will be no services.
