Nina Mae Bell Ross, 81 of Camden-on-Gauley, went to be with Sammy on Saturday, November 29, 2014 in Summersville. She was born October 3, 1933 in Curtin to Herman and Sybil Cadle Bell and lived the majority of her life in Camden-on-Gauley. She was a member of Little Glade Baptist Church, enjoyed embroidery, quilting, canning, fishing, and shopping. She read her Bible daily and loved going to church. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Nina is survived by her daughter Kelly (husband Steve) Elliott of Camden-on-Gauley; grandson Scottie (wife Katie) Elliott of Camden-on-Gauley; beloved Randy Wine of Summersville; special granddaughter Taylor Wine of Summersville; Samantha Murphy of Birch River and Kevin Wine of Summersville; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Roy and Jennie McCumbers and Frankie Daniels; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends Faye Boggs, Juanita McKinney, and Shirley Dillon. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John Scott Ross; and son Samuel Dodrill.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Adams-Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Nina's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Scott McAvoy Cemetery.
