Reba Kathleen Carpenter, 72, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012 at her residence.
Reba was born November 27,1939, in Whitesville to the late Boyd and Mable Williams Salisbury. She was a Methodist by faith. She lived most of her life in Webstrer County, and she enjoyed camping and her grandson.
Surviving are her daughter Patricia (Trish) Peyatt of Camden-on-Gauley; grandson James Peyatt of Camden-On-Gauley; step-grandson Josh Peyatt of Camden-On-Gauley; and sister Rosie (Frank) Smith of Upperglade, WV.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James (Mick) Carpenter; four brothers, Willie Prater, Hilbert Salisbury, Fred Salisbury, and Robert Salisbury; three sisters, Edith Mills, Helen Meadows and Murial Mills.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday April 26, at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen with the Rev, George Peyatt officiating Burial will be in Salisbury Cemetery, Erbacon.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at the funeral home.
