Robert "Bob" Wyatt
March 3, 1923 — January 15, 2016
Robert “Bob” Allen Wyatt, 92, of Cowen, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Summersville Regional Medical Center.
Born March 3, 1923 at Camden on Gauley, he was son of the late Floyd and Ora (Calhoun) Wyatt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marilouise Wyatt; son, Joseph Wyatt; sisters, Anna Mary Dudding and Bernadine Haines; and brothers, Lester and Frank Wyatt.
He was a United States Navy Veteran who served our great country during World War II and a retired Coal Miner with 42 years of experience. Bob enjoyed woodworking and fishing and was a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include his son, Steve (wife, Debbie) Wyatt of Cowen; daughter, Bobbisue (husband, Phillip) Wilson of Cowen; sister, June Nettles of Ocala, FL; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives to mourn his passing.
Services will be held 11 am, Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen, with the Reverend Tom Kessler officiating. Burial will follow at West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin.
Friends may join the family for a visitation 5-8 on Tuesday, January 19, 2016.
