Wanda A. Morrison, 86 of Upperglade, WV, died in Webster County Memorial Hospital, March 28. 2011. She was born in Arcola, WV, the daughter of the late Guy J. & Ruth Adamy Smith. She was a lifelong resident of Webster County and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Genevie R. Morrison, brothers: Russell P. Smith, Harry Smith and Harold Smith, and a sister Opal Lyser. She is survived by sons: Frank J. (Norma) Morrison of Craigsville, WV, Trigger J. (Joyce) Morrison of Arcola, WV, Sonny W. Morrison of Virginia, Charles P. Morrison of Upperglade, WV, and Goldenlee (Linda) Morrison of Richwood, WV, daughters: Dolly J. (Thomas) Marion of Summers County, Nettie V. Kessler of Camden on Gauley, WV, and Wanda J. Morrison of Webster County, brothers: Franklin Smith of Upperglade, and Junior Ray Smith of Cowen, sisters: Macil Mullens of Cowen, Mildred Addington of Craigsville, Louise Carpenter of Oklahoma, and Bessy Bleed of Arizona, 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Services will be at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen, WV, on April 1, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Cofer "Bud" Cochran officiating. Burial will be in the Morrison Family Cemetery, Erbacon, WV. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2011.
