Wilma Vaught

Wilma June Vaught 88 of Melbourne FL, formerly of Camden on Gauley, WV died, Friday, May 6, 2011, following an extended illness.  She was born, Feb. 23, 1923, at Camden on Gauley, WV,daughter of the late Paul & Lula Rapp Norman. She moved to Melbourne, FL in 1956 and worked several years at Cape Canaveral/ Kennedy Space Center. She also worked for Pan American airlines making  flight reservations for astronauts.  Later she worked  in administration at Florida Institute of Technology. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Melbourne, FL. Melbourne Chapter of White Shrine and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Surviving:  daughter: Karen Lewis of Indian Harbour, FL.,  grandson:  Paul Christian, and  great-grandchildren:  Elizabeth & Randy Christian of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  She was preceded in death by her parents & grandson, Randy Christian. Graveside service will be 11 a.m.,  Monday,  May 16, 2011, at WV Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.  Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen is in charge of arrangements.  Friends will be received at the Cemetery after 10:30 a.m. Monday
